ABSTRACT SUBMISSIONS
General Information
Authors are required to register at the conference prior to submitting an abstract. A registration number will be created for future reference and correspondence.
Up to 3 papers will be accepted in each registration. From those, maximum 2 papers may be chosen for oral presentation, the third one, if accepted, will be selected for poster presentation.
Authors shall indicate their preference for poster or oral presentation when submitting each extended (3-page max) abstract. The Scientific Committee, however, will make a final decision on the type of presentation (poster or oral). Two or three anonymous reviewers will evaluate each abstract. The abstracts can be accepted or rejected. Once an abstract is accepted for oral presentation, its authors will be invited to submit a 12-page (max) full manuscript. Submission of a full paper is compulsory for oral presentation at the conference and publication in the conference proceedings. Conference proceedings with full papers for oral presentations and 3-page (max) abstracts for poster presentations will be distributed to all participants in digital format. ExHFT-10 is copyright free. The authors whose abstracts are selected for poster presentation do not have to submit a full paper.
A selection of the best papers presented in ExHFT-10 will appear in Special Issues of Experimental Thermal and Fluid Science and Applied Thermal Engineering (Elsevier), after going through the formal journal review process.
Template for extended abstracts is now available. An extended abstract is a summary of the work to be presented in the full paper. It should include as much of the results and findings as possible in the space provided (3-page max). The insertion of figures and tables is highly recommended. In addition to the technical content, clarity of writing and adherence to the format should not be overlooked.
